The theatre is located at 225 West 44th Street.It opened on October 2, 1913 with Hamlet, starring Sir John Forbes-Robertson. It seats 1,480.The Theatre's longest show was A Chorus Line, which ran for 6,137 performances from 1975 to 1990 and set the record for longest running show in Broadway history, Recent productions are Hello, Dolly!' Matilda the Musical (2013), Blithe Spirit; Memphis (2009).
